I am the proud owner of La Vie Salon. I started my hair career in 1999 as a receptionist for a WS salon. I fell in love with it; I loved the people, energy, beauty, spark, and confidence it gave. I wanted to be a part of that culture. After high school, I went to beauty school at Gene Juarez Academy and apprenticed after school in the salon. By 2002 I graduated and was taking clients full-time.

 

Growing up in West Seattle, I was very fortunate to build my clientele of friends, family, classmates, and referrals. Most of my clients have been with me from the very beginning; I cherish these relationships.

 

When I am not making people beautiful, I'm hanging with my family. I live in the Arbor Heights neighborhood of West Seattle with my husband Donny, and our kids Lola and JT.  I spend my time going for walks, gardening, listening to music, reading books, eating good food, and being in the company of good friends and family.
